TOOL # 4

Even though I don't use Google Docs frequently, I do understand is a great way to communicate with the staff (ex. netbooks checkout) and students. As far as how I can incorporate Google Apps as a tool in your classroom the possibilities are endless; from creating a classroom library book check out, to using it for inquiry groups research, to share-edit-create documents to present to the class.... I'll just take it one step at a time ;-)

  1. Students can work collaboratively in Google Docs. They could share research info in a document - say if a group were to be researching the same topic. They could write a story together. Think about how they could also add data to a Google Form and then as a class y'all could look at the data. It is endless. You should give it a try!
