TOOL # 6

I created a bulletin board in wallwisher. I find it very interactive and I know students will enjoy posting their thought in here. I made this sample:

I also created an account in diigo.  I still have to play more with this but I think it's a great tool to use and share great resources.

TOOL # 5

This summer my students and I had a really inquiry group, learning but specially applying all these technology tools which are great. Some of the ones we used were: magazine cover, wordle, trading cards, animoto, mozaic maker, PicNic etc..
Two products I created were:

Wordle: This is so simple to create but can be very powerful, fun,
and attractive for students.  In this case I made a wordle for Subtraction with key facts.

Trading Card:  This is another great and simple tool to use with our students.  This could be used for the beginning of the year to introduce ourselves. Also for researching any concept.

    TOOL # 4

Even though I don't use Google Docs frequently, I do understand is a great way to communicate with the staff (ex. netbooks checkout) and students. As far as how I can incorporate Google Apps as a tool in your classroom the possibilities are endless; from creating a classroom library book check out, to using it for inquiry groups research, to share-edit-create documents to present to the class.... I'll just take it one step at a time ;-)

    TOOL # 3

    1. Some sites I find most useful that I personally use frequently are discovery education and brainpop jr.
    2. Here is a video I found on Youtube about  Inquiry Circles which I found helpful. I also found a nice video Brainpop-Internet safety

Teaching Elementary Reading with Inquiry Circles

     3. I now have a better understanding about  copyright and fair use. Copyright is a legal concept, giving the creator of an original work exclusive right to it, usually for a limited time. Fair use is a  limitation and exception to the exclusive right granted by copyright law to the author of a creative work.
    4. I just created my dropbox for school purpose. I think it would be a great tool to share great resources with my collegues and my students.

    TOOL # 2

It is evident that technology provides a world of opportunities. I must confess this was my first time commenting on other peoples' ideas or comments. The more we look for blogs and resources the more ideas we can find for our classrooms.
A good resource I found that I will be using in the future to improve how I use Words Their Way in my classroom is The Caffeinated Teacher
